Your rights
You have the right to information about the personal data stored about you, its origin, its recipients and the purpose of processing (Art. 15 GDPR), and rights to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21).
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent authority is the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Der Hamburgische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit), Ludwig-Erhard-Straße 22, 20459 Hamburg, Germany.
Server log files
When you open this page, your browser transmits technically necessary data that the hosting provider records in log files: IP address, date and time, the address requested, volume transferred, browser type and version, operating system, and the referrer URL if your browser sends one.
Purpose and legal basis: operation, stability and security of the site, based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is technically faultless delivery.
Retention: at most 14 days
Processor: the site is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
Fonts
The typefaces Archivo, Source Serif 4 and IBM Plex Mono are served from this server. No connection to Google or any other third party is made, and no IP address is passed on.

If you write to me, I process what you send in order to answer and to handle follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. I do not pass this on without your consent and delete it once the matter is closed and no statutory retention periods apply.
